Airlifting of stranded Nigerians to end July

The Federal Government has set a most of 4 weeks to full the evacuation of over 4,000 Nigerians stranded in numerous international locations.

The Presidential Taskforce (PTF) mentioned it is going to evacuate 1,000 of such Nigerians weekly.

The residents are stranded in numerous international locations throughout following the worldwide lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic. Already, 1,523 Nigerians have been evacuated as at June 13.

According to PTF Coordinator, Dr. Sani Aliyu, 500 of the evacuees could be touchdown in Abuja and the opposite 500 shall be touchdown in Lagos.
